Refund and cancellation policy

Understand exactly what you buy, how renewal works, and how to request your money back. This policy applies to LawSchoolShortcuts subscriptions and semester passes purchased directly through the website.

If you request a refund within seven (7) calendar days after a charge, we will refund that charge to the original payment method. This applies to a first Pro subscription charge, a Pro monthly renewal charge, or a Semester Pass purchase. You do not need to provide a special reason. Requests after that window are reviewed individually; any rights required by applicable law still apply.
How to request a refund
Email lawschoolshortcuts@gmail.com with the subject “Refund request.” Include the email associated with your LawSchoolShortcuts account, which plan you bought, and the approximate charge date (or Stripe receipt reference). Do not send credit-card numbers, passwords, or sensitive financial details. No login is required to email us.
Processing and timing
We aim to respond within two business days. For an eligible request, we will initiate the full refund through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer controls how quickly the credit appears, which can take additional business days. If the charge cannot be located from the details supplied, we may ask for limited additional information.
Monthly Pro — $9.99 per month
Monthly Pro renews automatically until you cancel. To stop the next charge, sign in and use Manage Subscription on the Pricing page to open your Stripe billing portal. Cancel before the next renewal. Canceling stops future charges but does not automatically refund prior charges; request a refund under the window above when applicable.
Semester Pass — $29.99 once
The Semester Pass provides up to 120 days of Pro access from activation and does not renew automatically. The same seven (7) calendar days refund window applies to the one-time charge.
Access after a refund
If a paid purchase is refunded, paid access associated with that charge may be ended or adjusted after the refund is processed. Your Free access and existing account data remain subject to the Terms and Privacy Policy.
Billing trouble, duplicate payments and legal rights
If you were charged twice, cannot access a purchase, or have a billing concern, contact us promptly. We will review the issue and any rights required by consumer-protection law even if the ordinary refund window has passed. This policy does not replace or limit applicable statutory remedies.
