Privacy policy

LawSchoolShortcuts provides educational software for law students. This policy explains the information used when you visit the site, register, practice, upload course materials, purchase a plan, or contact us.
Information we collect
Account information such as name and email address; optional school, course and professor details; outlines and syllabus content you choose to supply; your practice responses, scores, progress, flashcards, AI interactions and feature usage; voluntary feedback and support messages; and technical information needed to operate, secure and diagnose the site.
How we use information
To authenticate accounts, deliver study features, save your materials, personalize learning recommendations, provide AI feedback you request, enforce usage allowances, verify purchases and membership access, answer support inquiries, prevent misuse, and maintain the service.
AI processing
When you ask an AI tool to analyze an outline, syllabus, essay, or tutoring message, relevant text is transmitted to the configured AI service and used to produce that requested output. AI-generated answers can be inaccurate. Avoid uploading client files, privileged information, personal health records, government ID numbers, financial credentials, or private information belonging to others.
Service providers and payments
We rely on Base44 for application infrastructure and account services, Stripe for hosted checkout, subscriptions and refunds, and configured AI providers for requested AI tasks. They process relevant information under their own terms and privacy practices. Full payment-card numbers are entered with Stripe, not in LawSchoolShortcuts forms. We may retain payment status and transaction references to administer access and support.
Your control and access
You can access and edit many study materials in your account. You may request a copy of your information, a correction, or account deletion by contacting us at the email below; we may need to verify ownership before making changes. We will evaluate applicable legal rights and honor valid requests, subject to legally required records and technical backup retention.
Retention
We retain account and study information while needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational, security, support, and legal purposes. Deleted data may persist temporarily in backups or records we are required to keep. We do not promise instant deletion from every service provider.
Cookies and technical storage
The site and its service providers use authentication, session, and other essential browser technologies to operate user accounts and maintain security. If we add nonessential marketing tracking, we will update this notice and any applicable consent choices.
Security
We use the account and application access controls supported by our service providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong password and never share account credentials or upload material you are not authorized to disclose.
Age and educational scope
LawSchoolShortcuts is intended for adults studying law. It is not directed to children under 18.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when practices or legal requirements change, with the effective date displayed here. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to the public support address below.
